Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rad Nutrition, LLC (doing business as RadNuvo) (“RadNuvo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, apps, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Summary of key points

  • We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • If you connect fitness or recovery services (for example Strava, Zwift, Hammerhead, Wahoo, Oura, Fitbit / Google Health, or Intervals.icu), we use that data to provide RadNuvo features such as training analysis, planning, health/readiness, and your user profile.
  • Garmin connection currently uses Intervals.icu as a secure intermediary. RadNuvo does not receive your Garmin username or password. You authorize Intervals.icu, and Intervals.icu syncs selected Garmin activity and wellness data with RadNuvo.
  • When a connected service provides ride maps or GPS tracks, we may store that route data to show ride analytics and maps inside RadNuvo. You can disconnect a service at any time.
  • You control connected-service permissions, including whether certain services are pull-only or pull + push (where supported) within your settings.
  • You can access, delete, or export your data (subject to certain legal/security exceptions).

Information we collect

1) Information you provide

  • Account and identity information: such as email address, username, and sign-in method (including via Clerk and Google).
  • Profile and training information: such as name, date of birth, sex, height, weight, timezone, units, FTP, goals, availability, equipment, event targets, and other performance/training inputs you choose to provide during onboarding or later in Profile.
  • Check-ins and subjective health notes: pre-ride and post-ride check-ins may include soreness, fatigue, pain, sleep quality, sickness symptoms, mental readiness, perceived effort, fueling notes, and similar wellness inputs you enter.
  • Fueling and nutrition inputs: information you enter for daily nutrition guidance or fueling formulas (for example ride duration, carbohydrate targets, and related preferences).
  • Community content: information you post or share through social/community features (for example, groups, shared workouts, comments, or messages where available).
  • Support and communications: information you share when you contact us, submit requests, or otherwise communicate with us.

2) Information from connected fitness and recovery services

If you choose to connect third-party services (for example Strava, Hammerhead, Zwift, Wahoo, Intervals.icu, Oura, Fitbit / Google Health, and others as they become available),
we receive information from those services based on the permissions you grant. We store encrypted connection tokens so the Services can stay linked until you disconnect them.

This may include activity/workout summaries and related training metrics (such as time, distance, power, heart rate, cadence, elevation totals, training stress,
workout structure, and similar performance/training information). Where a service provides GPS tracks, map polylines, or location samples, we may store that route data
to display ride maps and related analytics in RadNuvo. We do not use ride GPS data for advertising.

Some services may support both importing data into RadNuvo (“pull”) and exporting/syncing certain data from RadNuvo back to the service (“push”),
such as planned workouts. Where supported, you can choose your preferences for each connected service within your RadNuvo settings.

Intervals.icu and Garmin

RadNuvo currently uses Intervals.icu as a commercial, OAuth-based partner for Garmin-related sync. This is an intentional, supported integration—not an unofficial workaround.
If you choose this connection during onboarding or later in settings:

  • Completed activities: Garmin → Intervals.icu → RadNuvo (typically Garmin-sourced rides and related activity metrics).
  • Planned workouts: RadNuvo → Intervals.icu → Garmin Connect / Garmin device (so structured workouts can appear on your Garmin calendar).
  • Wellness information: selected daily wellness data through Intervals.icu’s API, which may include resting heart rate, HRV, sleep duration, and sleep score when Garmin (or another linked source in Intervals.icu) makes those fields available.

To use this path, you authorize RadNuvo to access your Intervals.icu account. Intervals.icu is a separate company with its own terms and privacy policy.
Garmin connection and Garmin permissions are managed inside Intervals.icu. RadNuvo does not collect your Garmin password.

Activity data obtained through Intervals.icu may include Garmin-sourced data. Where RadNuvo displays information derived from Garmin-sourced data,
we provide Garmin attribution as required. Wellness charts and similar views may include data from Garmin devices even when the exact source field is not identified.

3) Health, recovery, and readiness data

If you use Health features or connect a recovery service, we may process daily recovery metrics (such as HRV and resting heart rate), sleep-related values when available,
check-in answers, and derived readiness scores used to recommend keeping, downgrading, or resting from planned training.

You may also enter HRV or resting heart rate manually. A manual value for a given day overrides wearable values for that field.

4) Billing information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
We may store subscription status, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, and related billing metadata needed to provide access.
Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy practices.

5) Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, pages/screens viewed, and interaction events.
  • Log and diagnostic data: such as error logs and performance data to help maintain service reliability and security.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (web): used for core site functionality (like keeping you signed in), remembering preferences, and analytics.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate access.
  • Sync, display, and analyze training data you choose to import from connected services.
  • Generate and update training plans, daily workouts, calendar/week views, and related recommendations.
  • Calculate health/readiness guidance from check-ins and optional wearable recovery data.
  • Provide fueling and nutrition guidance based on your profile, planned sessions, and related inputs.
  • Push planned workouts to destinations you enable (for example Intervals.icu for Garmin calendar sync, or other connected platforms where supported).
  • Personalize your training experience (for example, your profile, settings, recommendations, and plan features) based on your inputs and connected-service data.
  • Operate community features and allow sharing where you choose to share.
  • Process subscriptions and provide billing support.
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., confirmations, security alerts, password resets, important product updates).
  • Send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations, including required attribution for Garmin-sourced data.

Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process personal data when we have a legal basis, including:

  • Contract: to provide the Services you request (e.g., account access, training features, connected-service syncing).
  • Consent: for optional activities such as connecting third-party accounts, marketing emails, and (where required) non-essential cookies/analytics.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve our Services, prevent fraud, and operate our business (balanced against your rights).
  • Legal obligation: to comply with laws, regulations, and lawful requests.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used.
We use Google Analytics to help measure website usage and improve performance.

Where required by law (including in the EU/UK), we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies).
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

Community features and sharing

The Services may allow social/community features (for example, groups, sharing with a coach, or sharing workouts).
If you choose to share content or training data, it will be visible to the audience you select (for example, a group, a coach, or other users).
Please use care when sharing, as shared information may be viewed, copied, or re-shared by others depending on feature settings.

Who we share information with

We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers: vendors who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, databases, analytics, email delivery, customer support, and security). They may process data only on our instructions.
  • Authentication providers: such as Clerk and Google sign-in services to create and secure your account access.
  • Payment processor: Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Connected services (at your direction): when you connect a third-party service, data may be imported from that service; where you enable “push” syncing (if supported), data may be exported back to that service according to your settings. This includes Intervals.icu when you use it to connect Garmin.
  • Other users (when you choose): if you use community or sharing features, information may be shared with the people you select.
  • Legal and safety: if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights/safety, investigate fraud, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes such as maintaining accounts,
complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

Retention approach: We generally retain most user data for up to 180 days after it is no longer needed for the purposes described above (such as after account deletion or disconnection),
after which we delete or de-identify it. Initial connected-activity imports commonly use a 180-day window, though you may choose a different import window where the product offers that setting.
We may retain limited information longer when necessary for legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices

  • Account information: you can review and update certain profile details in your account settings.
  • Disconnect connected services: you can disconnect integrations at any time, which stops future syncing. Disconnecting Intervals.icu stops future Garmin-related imports and planned-workout exports through that path. You may also revoke access inside Intervals.icu and/or Garmin Connect.
  • Delete your account: you can delete your RadNuvo account from System settings. Account deletion removes your RadNuvo account data and disconnects linked services where possible.
  • Sharing controls: you can control what you share through community features using available privacy settings.
  • Marketing emails: you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in marketing emails or by contacting us at info@radnuvo.com.
  • Cookies: you can manage cookie preferences (where available) and browser cookie settings.

Your privacy rights

EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data,
and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights (subject to certain exceptions):

  • Right to know/access: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, the sources, purposes, and categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
  • Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by California law (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising).
  • Right to limit: request limits on the use and disclosure of “sensitive personal information” where applicable (we use training, health/recovery, and profile data to provide the Services).
  • Non-discrimination: you will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

Categories of personal information we collect (may include): identifiers (e.g., email); account credentials; profile and fitness/training information you provide;
health and wellness information from check-ins and optional recovery devices; geolocation/route information from connected ride files when provided;
internet/network activity (usage and analytics data); and commercial information (subscription status and billing metadata).

Disclosures for business purposes: We may disclose the categories above to service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, authentication, email delivery, customer support, and payment processing)
and, at your direction, to connected fitness/recovery platforms (including Intervals.icu) to operate the Services.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf as permitted by law.

International data transfers

We operate and use service providers in the United States and North America (including U.S. West/North America West regions).
Connected partners such as Intervals.icu, Stripe, Clerk, and fitness platforms may process data in other jurisdictions according to their own practices.
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as contractual protections).

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption of connected-service access tokens at rest.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Comments (website)

If you leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to a profile image service (such as Gravatar) to determine whether you use it.
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors to the website may be able to extract that data.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at info@radnuvo.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and update the effective date above.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (such as in-app or by email).
